Food and nutrition Research Center office at Dilla, established with mission of doing research, advocate and training to advance understanding the role of food and nutrition improving livelihood of community.it also dedicated mitigate the challenges that prohibit attaining food security.by carrying out rigorous researches on food and nutrition, the center aspires to be among the leading research and training institutes in food and nutrition. also this center undertakes that define the citizenry’s nutritional status ,with reference particularly to malnutrition problem ,its causes and effects; develops and recommends developing research plans and objectives, writing grant proposals to secure funding, conducting literature reviews and data analysis, preparing reports and publications, working with other institutions and stakeholders, managing administrative tasks like budgeting and coordination, planning public outreach initiatives to raise awareness, supervising research projects from start to finish, and keeping up with the most recent developments in food and nutrition research are just a few of the activities that the office works on. Under this office there is one secretary, and one researcher.
