Dr. Elias, added that, vibrant academic staff of Dilla University, combined with the location in the globally recognized Gedeo cultural landscape—famous for producing high-quality organic coffee—positions Dilla University as an ideal partner for this collaboration. We are dedicated to aligning our curricula with industry needs and establishing strong linkages with businesses.
The objective of this partnership is; to facilitate the exchange of faculty and students, allowing for rich cultural and academic dialogue that enhances learning and research experiences, to develop joint research projects that address local and global climate challenges and other pertinent issues, to provide training and development opportunities for staff and students of Dilla University and to engaging the local communities in climate education and awareness.
According to the signed MOU, the climate school that proposed to be opened at Dilla University will serve as a source of knowledge, empowering students and researchers to tackle environmental issues with a focus on sustainability and resilience.
The MOU is signed by Dr. Elias Alemu, President of Dilla University and Mr Xu Kunlin, the Governor of Jiangsu Province.
