ዶ/ር ችሮታው አየለ ከኢትዮጵያ ቴሌቪዥን የልቦና ውቅር ፕሮግራም ጋር በነበራቸው ቆይታ ነው ከቡና ጋር የተያያዙ ችግሮችን በምርምር መፍታት እንደሚገባ የገለጹት። ፕሬዚዳንቱ እንደተናገሩት ዲላ ዩኒቨርሲቲም ይህንን ከግንዛቤ በማስገባት በቡና ምርምር ማዕከሉ የተለያዩ ምርምሮችን እየሰራ እና ለቡና አምራች ማህበረሰብ ስልጠናዎችን እየሰጠ ነው፤ ይህንን አጠናክሮ ለማስቀጠልም ዩኒቨርሲቲው ቡናን የልዕቀት ማዕከሉ (Center of excellence) አድርጎ እየሰራ እንደሆነ ዶ/ር ችሮታው ገልጸዋ

Dr. Chirotaw Ayele, president of Dilla University, stated that the problems associated with the productivity of coffee cultivation should be solved through research.
Dr. Chirotaw, stated this during his time with the Ethiopian Television program.
According to the president, Dilla University is also taking this into consideration and is conducting various researches at its coffee research center and providing training to the coffee producing community. In order to strengthen this, the University is focusing on coffee as a center of excellence.
