Dr. Dejene Girma
Dr. Dejene Girma Denbel (PhD) is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at the College of Natural and Computational Sciences, Department of Mathematics, Dilla University, Ethiopia. Dr. Dejene Girma Denbel has been working at Dilla University since 2008. He served Dilla University in different academic ranks: Graduate Assistant I, Graduate Assistant II, Assistant Lecturer, and Lecturer Academic Ranks from 2008 to 2015. Moreover, Dr. Dejene Girma Denbel was promoted to Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education by Dilla University in 2016 while studying his Doctorate Degree.
In 2018 He was graduated in Ph.D. with the field of Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education (with specialization in Mathematics Education) from UNISA (University of South Africa) in the Institute of Science and Technology Education (ISTE).
His Ph.D. Dissertation Research Area is: Teaching Mathematics Through Problem Solving (PSA) (Mixed Research Approach)
After serving with his Ph.D. for six years he is promoted to Associate Professor of Mathematics Education by Dilla University on January 1, 2024. Dr. Dejene Girma Denbel has published more than 10 research articles and reviewed more than 60 articles in international journals, recorded on web of science database and awarded certificates of Acknowledgment. Moreover, he reviewed more than three articles in the national Journals.
