Biography

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ambo University in June 2009 and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Addis Ababa University in 2015.
Since September 2009 I have been employed at Dilla University in a variety of academic roles. My teaching areas include Fundamentals of Programming, Fundamentals of Database, Advanced Database, Data Structures and Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Formal Language and Automata Theory, and Introduction to Distributed Systems.

Alongside my academic duties, I serve as Programme Manager for the School of Computing and Informatics at Dilla University, overseeing student enrolment and staff development. I am also the Dean of the School of Computing and Informatics, responsible for overall school administration, academic staff supervision, and decisions on significant student and staff matters. In addition, I hold the position of Academic Vice Director in the College of Engineering and Technology and serve as Director of the Information and Communication Technology Directorate, where I managed numerous technology-related initiatives. These roles have allowed me to develop strong administrative and management skills.
